The SPHN project organization involves partners at the national level, at the technical level, and at the institutional level. The Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences (SAMS) is the overarching body of the project.
SPHN is composed of the National Steering Board (NSB), the Scientific Expert Board (SEB), the ELSI Advisory Group (ELSIag), and the International Advisory Board (IAB). The role of the Data Coordination Center (DCC) managed by SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics is to establish interoperability of biomedical and clinical data to enable research in personalized health in Switzerland.
Finally, the Management Office (MO) is operated by SAMS and coordinates all activities.
Note: SPHN starts with public institutions (e.g. University Hospitals, universities, ETH-Domain) and shall be extended later to private hospitals and private companies.
